LaToya Griffin

MA, LMFTA

LaToya Griffin is native of Hampton Roads, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Norfolk State University, a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Cambridge College, and an additional Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Liberty University. LaToya is excited to join the Grace Love & Connection group as a Marriage & Family Therapy Trainee.

As a licensed school counselor, LaToya has several years of experience working with children and families with diverse backgrounds. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is currently developing niche for couples, blended families, and adults transitioning in and out of relationships.

LaToya is a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitator. LaToya has also completed the Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training. She enjoys facilitating premarital and couples counseling alongside her husband, Dr. Khalid Griffin, who is the Senior Pastor of Redemption Church Fort Wayne.

As a woman of faith, LaToya is able to integrate Biblical principles while working with those she is called to serve. With a passion is to help others meet and recognize their goals, LaToya strives to stimulate growth, healing, love, and passion for life, within herself and others.

LaToya enjoys spending time with her husband and two children by vacationing and going on family a dates. As a pastor's wife, La Toya is very active member of her church. Additionally, she is an active member in her community by serving in multiple organizations, including her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.
